About Master Queens
Master is the end of the line: 20 puzzles on a full 12×12 board, with the most demanding region configurations the generator produces.
These are not harder because the rules changed. They are harder because there is more of everything: twelve rows, twelve columns and twelve regions all constraining each other at once, with enough space that a mistake made early can stay invisible until the board is nearly full. The solvers who finish these are methodical rather than fast, marking exhaustively and refusing to place a queen until it is genuinely forced.
Sixteen minutes is a quick one. Many take considerably longer, and there is no shame in leaving a board and coming back to it. Your progress is kept. Finish all twenty and you have solved every Queens board on Grid Leveling.
Game Rules
- Each row must have exactly one queen.
- Each column must have exactly one queen.
- Each color region must have exactly one queen.
- Queens cannot touch, not even diagonally.
