About Easy Queens
Easy is the first tier with real room to manoeuvre. A 6×6 board gives regions space to snake across several rows, so a region can no longer be resolved by glancing at it — you have to reason about where it overlaps with rows and columns you have already constrained.
This is the tier where marking blocked cells stops being optional. Trying to hold six rows, six columns and six regions in your head at once is how careless mistakes happen; blocking cells as you go turns the puzzle into something you can read straight off the board.
Expect three to four minutes per puzzle. If you find yourself guessing and undoing, slow down and re-scan for a forced move instead — there is always one available, and finding it is faster than backtracking.
Game Rules
