How to Play Sudoku

1The Goal

Fill the grid with numbers so that every row, every column, and every box contains all digits (1–9 for Classic, 1–6 for Mini) without repetition.

2The Rules

• Each number must appear exactly once in each row.
• Each number must appear exactly once in each column.
• Each number must appear exactly once in each 3×3 (or 3×2 for Mini) box.

3Controls

• • Tap / Click a cell to select it.
• • Use the Number Pad or Keyboard (1–9) to fill.
• • Use Arrow Keys to navigate between cells.
• • Note Mode lets you pencil in candidate numbers.
• • Erase clears the selected cell.
• • Undo steps back one move.
• • Hint reveals a smart suggestion (3 per game).

4Tips

• • Start with rows, columns, or boxes that already have many numbers filled in.
• • Use Note Mode to track which digits are still possible in a cell.
• • Look for a digit that can only go in one place within a row, column, or box — that's a hidden single.
